Spring Creek Dam

The Spillway at Spring Creek Dam was upgraded to accomodate potentially higher flood levels. The work consisted primarily of:

Earthworks to expose competent rock; pressure washing & preparing the rock surfaces for concrete foundations.
Pouring concrete foundations, up to 130cum, to ground level.
Formwork, Steel Fixing and Concrete pouring of the Retaining Walls either side of the existing Spillway; walls up to 5m high and 600mm thick.
Approx 1300 cum concrete poured in the two retaining wall structures.
